Hello. Welcome to the home of the Fort Myers Drum Line, better known as "FMDL" or "Drum Theater" (the show we are currently working on.) On this site, you will find information about our talented group of high school students, our school, upcoming events, pictures, and tons of other cool things! This site is maintained by the second-generation WebMaster, whom you may contact by clicking here.

The Drum Line is currently in session, working on its winter Indoor Percussion show, "Drum Theater," based on the CD "Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From a Memory." This CD was created and is copyrighted by the band Dream Theater. The CD is most certainly a work of art, and it is believed by many to be the boldest artistic statement the band has ever made. Michael Launius is the current instructor for the Drum Line. Without him and the music he gracefully arranged for our percussion ensemble, "Drum Theater" would not have been possible. Thanks for all your help and dedication, Michael!!

Gus Figeac is Director of Bands at Fort Myers High School, the home of FMDL. Without his help, there would have been no competitive events for FMDL to compete in, and there may not have been a drum line this winter! Thanks for everything, Mr. Figeac!
